Tepehuan Church Planter

Position Title: Tepehuan Church Planter
Accountability: Reports to Durango Field Leader and Mexico Field Director.
Ministry Responsibility: Establishing indigenous Tepehuan churches.
Ministry Overview: Work as a team to create relationships, evangelize, disciple, and develop church leadership among the Tepehuan.
Primary Duties: The establishment of Tepehuan churches capable of outreach and ministry to their own people; maintaining a strong emphasis on teaching and worship in their native language.
Skills and Experience:
  • Four years academic training, including Bible, Missiology, Intercultural Studies, Cultural Anthropology, Church Planting, etc.
  • “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement” course.
  • Spanish Language School.
  • Tepehuan Culture and Language Acquisition on field.
  •  Pastoral or ministry eldership experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
